Start with a simple flat panel

The initial quoting focus is solid laminates and sandwich panels with final profile cutting. The design workspace supports a gross envelope up to 4 × 8 ft; usable finished dimensions depend on stock, trim and the selected manufacturing process. Sizes near that limit need review.

Catalog product references are design selections, not a stock guarantee. Material availability, resin compatibility, surface finish and cure process are confirmed for each proposal. Any substitution needs your approval.

Inserts, threaded hardware, local laminate changes, special edge details, tighter tolerances and custom core thicknesses are custom requests. Their presence in a design does not mean standard fulfillment is available.

What the estimates and drawings mean

Planning allowances are illustrative and uncalibrated. They are not supplier quotes. We do not publish a committed lead time until manufacturing availability is confirmed.

PDF drawing sets and CAD geometry are draft review documents. Geometry checks, calculated laminate properties and standards references do not constitute structural approval, a professional stamp or a manufacturing release. Review and inspection requirements must be agreed for the actual job.

Extra same-build test panels and coupon manufacturing can be requested. Lab testing, specimen approval and engineering interpretation are separate. Calculated properties are not tested material allowables.

Supported files

The designer imports ASCII DXF closed straight polylines, circles and points, with explicit units and geometry assignment. Native DWG, splines, blocks and open linework are not decoded. Export supported closed geometry from your CAD application first. You can also supply an http/https drawing link with your request.

Imported reference geometry is not automatically a manufacturing feature. Assign the outline, cutouts or insert locations explicitly. Only the saved panel definition is included in the request.

Your request and data

Design drafts and named revisions are saved in your browser on this device. They are not a customer account or a cloud backup. Download copies you want to keep. Calculations and drawing generation send your panel definition to our server.

When you press “Send quote request,” your name, email, destination, optional company and notes, drawing link, and complete panel definition are sent through FormSubmit, our email delivery service. This creates an email inquiry for PlyDrop; it does not create a production order. A service acceptance message is not a guarantee that the email has reached the inbox.

We use inquiry information to review and respond to your project. Manufacturing review may require sharing the relevant design and requirements with a prospective supplier. Do not submit material that needs an NDA or special handling through this form; contact us first to arrange that.

Campaign labels in the page URL, if present, accompany your inquiry so we can understand how you found us. They do not include the contents of your design. The main panel designer does not load an advertising tracker. Older calculator pages may load Google Analytics and Plausible.
