Dimensions & quantity
Machining & acceptance

A pan-down removes the core locally and ramps the skins together into solid laminate for hardware pads, hinge lines, or load introduction. Sandwich panels only. Locations, sizes, and the ramp are confirmed on the drawing.

Laminate

A wedge core thins linearly along the length from the selected core to the thin-end thickness, machined from the thicker stock. Thickness is shown as a range; taper direction and datum are confirmed on the drawing.

Details

Peel ply is assumed on both faces, or on the opposite face when a cosmetic face is selected.

Application requirements

Include loads, support spacing, environment, fire requirements, drawing revision, and acceptance criteria in your request. S-glass, aramid, H100 foam, balsa, and honeycomb are quoted on review; mixed-material laminates need a drawing-based quote.
